SOFTWARE VERIFICATION ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.

Define, document and maintain SW tests according to software requirements

Develop manual & automated software test procedure and test plans to verify software functionality, reliability, and performance.

Execute defined software tests and test procedures, report and document the software test results.

Improve system- and software performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.

Troubleshoot and solve problems in case of defects and deviations in SW and HIS driven problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BSc degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in similar role in automotive environment
  • Demonstrated competence in software develeopment in C
  • Proven experience in software testing and verification, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system- and software-requirements.
  • Expertise in Base-SW (AUTOSAR, CAN/LIN, HSI, Vector Canoe, CAPL programming and V TestStudio
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MSc degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering
  • ISTQB foundation level certification and basic HW knowledge is a nice to have
