Cloud Platform Engineer

A leading international technology company is expanding its IT – Infrastructure and Operations team in Budapest. We are currently looking for a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to help design, maintain, and optimize robust cloud platforms that enable efficient application delivery and support strategic technology initiatives. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in building and managing scalable, secure, and reliable Azure-based cloud environments. You will collaborate with development and product teams to deliver cloud platforms that drive efficiency and innovation. Within the team, you will contribute to platform initiatives, automation, and operational excellence, ensuring that cloud services meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services into applications and platforms. Automate monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows to ensure high availability and reliability. Manage daily cloud operations, proactively addressing issues and incidents. Support platform initiatives that enable developers to consume cloud services efficiently. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in cloud architecture, governance, and operational best practices. Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards while optimizing cloud cost and resource usage. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with international and remote teams is a plus. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to drive tasks to completion.
