Junior AR Accountant

The Junior Accounts Receivable colleague will be responsible for processing and reconciliation of cash receipts.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months of experience in an accounts receivable role, and fluent English and Hungarian knowledge.

Your tasks will be as an AR Junior:

  • Process customer cash receipts
  • Reconcile, investigate, and resolve cash receipts queries, and initiate correction within the Accounts Receivable system.
  • Review collections and allocate them correctly to customer accounts.
  • Bank payment reconciliation.
  • Processing manual invoices/credit notes according to business requirements.
  • Assist in financial, external, and internal audits.
  • Communicate effectively to key stakeholders on all ongoing queries.
  • Identify discrepancies and ensure all queries on the accounts are followed through and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with internal customers for necessary details about invoices and collections (credit notes, reminders, correcting incorrect invoices/claims

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc Degree
  • Minimum 6 months of AR experience
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members and key stakeholders
  • Fluency in English
  • Action & solution-oriented mindset
  • Good MS Office skills (especially Excel).
