Are you looking for a challenging role in a growing international organization? We have an exciting opportunity for an AR Collection Team Leader to join our partner, a global media company.
As an AR Collection Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the AR and Collection processes within the company. This includes managing possible escalations and high-level cases, driving improved performance in invoicing and collections activity, and maintaining a solid master data database.
You will also be responsible for training and mentoring AR team members, conducting performance reviews, and setting and tracking KPIs. Additionally, you will be the key contact for ad-hoc projects such as process improvements, standardization, and system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage AR and Collection processes to ensure smooth operation
- Drive improved performance in invoicing and collections activity
- Maintain a solid master data database
- Train and mentor AR team members
- Conduct performance reviews and set KPIs
- Support ad-hoc projects such as process improvements and system implementations
- Solid understanding of financial and collections processes
- SSC experience is an advantage
- 3-5 years of experience in AR (Accounts Receivables, Billing, Collection, Cash Application)
- Previous experience in a role with people management tasks
- Strong user-level MS Office and Excel skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to resolve problems and escalations
- Multitasking skills
- Precision at work, close attention to detail regarding deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP B1 preferred (but not a must)
- Fluent English
- College or university degree
