Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team dedicated to working on cutting-edge data and AI technologies. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of DevOps experience in a SaaS production environment and a strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.

Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure highly available and scalable production systems.
  • Build and maintain highly available and scalable production systems.
  • Manage core production systems, including frequent changes and updates.
  • Rapidly identify and resolve problems in production systems.
  • Provide support during off hours when necessary.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of DevOps experience in a SaaS production environment.
  • Experience configuring Microsoft Azure and/or similar cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with managing Helm charts for packaging, deploying, and managing Kubernetes applications.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and metrics collection tools in high-scale production environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
  • Programming experience with Python and Bash.
  • Experience with events streaming technologies like Kafka, Spark, and Databricks.
  • Knowledge of storage and data lake principles.
  • Hands-on experience with managing and configuring MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in high-availability environments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Databricks, including setting up clusters, configuring jobs, and optimizing performance.
  • Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Hana Cloud Data Lake, Cloud Logging.
  • Hands-on experience with Istio service mesh, Kyverno.
  • Experience with K8s Prometheus monitoring stack and Dynatrace.
