  • Being involved in all stages of the development of a well, including
    • identification of potential locations to drill
    • assisting the drilling team with relevant geological information
    • collaborating with the project geologist, wellsite geologist, drilling and reservoir engineers to develop well plans, drilling programs and optimize drilling operations
    • formation top and pore pressure prediction and reevaluation during drilling based on newly acquired information
    • monitor drilling operations in real time
    • ensuring smooth communication between the headquarter, wellsite and partner companies
    • supervising wireline and LWD operations, QCing logs
    • evaluating current practices to identify improvement opportunities Company wide
    • 24 hour on call availability may also be required during certain stages of the operation

  • MSc in geology / petroleum geology
  • 5 years of experience in operations (wellsite geologist, operations geologist)
  • Hungarian as mother tongue
  • Fluent in English
  • Great communication skills, team player
  • Driving license B category
,
  • Experience in managed pressure drilling, directional drilling and geosteering is a plus
