Procurement Specialist

Procurement Process:

• Identify and procure required goods and services in alignment with business needs.
• Develop and maintain a robust supplier network, ensuring high quality and cost-efficiency.
• Execute material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory control to maintain stock levels and minimize overages or shortages.

Supplier Management:

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service reliability.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure performance standards.

Inventory and Warehouse Optimization:

• Coordinate closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth material handling, storage, and dispatch.
• Monitor and control inventory to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure availability of critical materials.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Analyze procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain continuity.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and local national language.
• Strong knowledge of office applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in material management and procurement, particularly in the electrical engineering sector.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and demonstrate resilience under pressure.

• Experience in strategic procurement and supplier negotiation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems for procurement management (Odoo).
