Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Platform Administration team. This role focuses on enhancing our platform's administration and billing capabilities, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Audit Logs, and billing features. These features are integral to Appsmith’s adoption inside large enterprises. This role will collaborate with our Sales team to accelerate the sales pipeline and with our Customer Success team to accelerate account expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS, preferably in the developer tools space, and extensive experience managing similar product features.

Interview Process
  • Screening: You will have a 30 minute introductory call with your hiring manager. Please try building an app on the product before this call. We will be looking to understand whether you have the relevant experience. Be thoughtful about how you communicate the projects you have worked on and the challenges you have overcome. We are also looking to understand how you relate to the product and whether you connect with the problem statement. Prepare some feedback on your experience with the product and your thoughts around it.
  • Product Strategy: You will have a 60 minute call with your hiring manager who guage your experience developing a product strategy. Organise your thoughts based on your past experience to put your best foot forward.
  • Domain Expertise: You will have a 60 minute call with a member of the product team who will look to understand your experience with enterprises. Be thoughtful about your understanding of these organisations and their needs. We will also look to understand your knowledge of Authentication & User Management systems and how you would build them.
  • Culture Fit: You will have a 60 minute call with a founder who will try to better understand you as a person and whether you would thrive inside the culture at Appsmith. We are looking for candidates who deeply care about their work, take ownership & are always trying to get better.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B SaaS, with a focus on platform administration, and billing features.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SSO, RBAC, Audit Logs, billing systems, and other administration-related technologies and standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product initiatives.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated experience in gathering customer insights and translating them into successful product features.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
