  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting process, from day-to-day bookkeeping to financial reporting and audits.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and other key reports for the Hungarian entity.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax and financial regulations, while keeping an eye on changing industry standards.
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and handle month-end and year-end closings.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on budget planning, financial forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance financial efficiency.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • High level of self-initiative, capable of managing the full accounting process independently.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
