Analytical Chemist

Position: Analytical ChemistLocation: BudapestCompany: A leading organization in the chemical industry, committed to quality and innovation.Job Summary:As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating analytical and testing equipment, minimizing equipment downtime, and troubleshooting instrument/equipment/test method issues. You will analyze a range of raw chemical samples using HPLC and GC instruments, oversee the procurement of laboratory consumables, and support the installation and commissioning of new analytical instruments.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and calibrate analytical and testing equipment, minimize equipment downtime, troubleshoot instrument/equipment/test method issues, and provide specialized technical support as required.Analyze a range of raw chemical samples, primarily using HPLC and GC instruments.Monitor the SQC control sample testing program and take corrective actions when deviations are detected.Oversee the procurement of laboratory consumables and manage inventory.Support the installation of new analytical instruments/test equipment and their commissioning by documenting setup protocols, SOPs, training, and user training records.Develop new test method protocols as required by business units.Conduct and/or comply with tests (internal and external) and maintenance requirements.Requirements:University degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or a related field of study.Excellent knowledge of English (daily communication, correspondence, and reading documentation).Experience with analytical instruments, including HPLC and GC.Experience interacting with QA/QC.What We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.Professional development and career growth opportunities.Supportive and collaborative team culture.Flexible working conditions, including the possibility of remote work.
