Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Cosma Assembly Technology (CAT) is a division of Magna International, a leading automotive supplier. Our team is responsible for designing and validating automotive assembly processes and concepts, helping our customers achieve world-class manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize manufacturing system layouts to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Perform product manufacturability analysis to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of GD&T / Tolerance stack-up analysis, Clamping Plans, and P-FMEA documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process change management and quote development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in Corporate Best Practices, benchmarking activities, and lessons learned.
- Support global launch activities as required.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as engineering or manufacturing.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in a related industry, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
- Excellent English skills, with fluency in spoken and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
- German language an asset.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as ACAD, and experience with 3D CAD software an asset.
- Experience with 3D Process Software, such as Visual Components, Process Designer, or Process Simulate, an asset.
- Advanced GD&T knowledge and interpretation skills.
- Ability to travel globally and have valid travel documents.

- Office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing environment.
