Chief Financial Reporting Specialist

A leading financial service holding company, Aegon CEE B.V., Magyarországi Fióktelep, seeks a highly skilled Chief Financial Reporting Specialist to join its Budapest team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a deep understanding of financial reporting principles. With a minimum of 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education/experience, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

This role involves working with both internal and external sources to ensure proper reporting of financial data, completing and providing a thorough analysis of accounting topics relevant to the area, and reconciling, investigating, correcting, and adjusting accounting information in accordance with aggressive deadlines.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in projects, work with internal and external auditors, and be responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls. Additionally, they may be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual reports that help prepare the statutory financial reporting.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work effectively individually and within a team, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills, effective judgment, and a customer-centric approach.
