Job Title: Finance Process Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a professional with experience in process transformation and ERP implementation, along with a solid understanding of financial processes. As the Finance Process Lead, you will drive the deployment of Project One in Hungary's finance operations, collaborating closely with the local finance team and the CEE Project Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of the new ERP system for finance, managing the full project lifecycle while defining local requirements and optimizing finance functions (O2C, S2P, financial reporting, general ledger, etc.), ensuring alignment with Project One and the central team's objectives.
  • Serve as the primary finance expert for Project One in Hungary, ensuring smooth communication between finance, IT, and the Project One team.
  • Oversee tasks such as data preparation, migration, testing, and issue resolution during testing phases.
  • Identify and address gaps between Project One processes and local practices, ensuring compliance and optimization.
  • Manage the decommissioning of legacy systems and oversee Go-Live activities for a successful transition.
  • Provide post-Go-Live support to ensure system stability and continuous process improvement.
  • Create and deliver training materials to ensure smooth ERP system adoption by end users.
  • Report potential risks to the Implementation Lead and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Develop controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
  • Participate in the Key User Community, sharing best practices and driving process improvements and automation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record in ERP or system implementations, with strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage highly complex tasks, seeing the big picture and focusing on solutions rather than getting caught up in details.
  • Personality: A calm and mature individual with a high level of stress tolerance, capable of motivating teams while navigating challenges.
  • Independence: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously while meeting key deliverables.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English, with the ability to convey complex processes clearly.
  • Highly Organized: You should be methodical and highly organized in your approach to managing tasks and projects.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of AX Dynamics 2012 R2 or Infor M3 is a plus.
  • Educational Requirements: A BA or MA degree in finance or a related field is required. Alternatively, at least 2-3 years of relevant finance experience will be considered.
