Our client is a leading international banking group providing services in five European countries. The international IT solutions of the group cover all five European countries, with responsibilities ranging from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated employee with senior or mid-level work experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills in a Windows environment, with knowledge of Citrix and Netscaler being a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies, including Firewall and VPN.
  • Ability to work within an established configuration and change management policies.
  • Experience with security tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to interact with vendors and other IT personnel to solve problems.

The successful candidate will become part of our virtual platform team, responsible for designing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and securing the Citrix Netscaler infrastructure. This includes hardware, software, and networks, mainly in an on-prem environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing the Citrix Netscaler infrastructure.
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support, performing troubleshooting to resolve issues and problems.
  • Maintaining and upgrading the system, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring system availability and reliability.
  • Monitoring system resource utilization, trends, and capacity planning.
  • Working within established configuration and change management policies.
  • Selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team.
  • Interacting with vendors and other IT personnel to solve problems.
  • Configuring and installing various devices and services.
