Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Tech Lead Scala to lead the design and development of data engineering solutions, including data pipelines and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Scala, Spark, and Kafka, and experience with data warehousing principles and modeling concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of data engineering solutions, including data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight for high-quality deliverables.
  • Accurately estimate time and resources required for new projects.
  • Promote a continuous learning and improvement culture, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide feedback and coaching, and encourage collaboration and open communication within the team and with stakeholders.

  • Scala, Spark, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, Apache Airflow, Talend, Glue, Azure Data Factory.
  • OLTP/OLAP, SQL/NoSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Azure Data Lake, Apache Hudi, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake.
  • Databricks, Fivetran, Machine Learning models.
