Job Title: Tax Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accounting Manager to join our team at Huawei Technologies Hungary Kft. in Budapest, Hungary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Prepare Tax Solutions: Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax risk exposure for our business models.
  • Prepare and File Tax Returns: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of monthly and annual tax returns, including direct tax.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Tax Regulations: Monitor and keep track of updates to tax legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Support Monthly Closing: Collaborate with the Accounting Sharing Center to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare Statutory Reports: Develop and submit statutory reports for annual audits.
  • Communicate with Tax Authorities: Serve as the primary point of contact with tax authorities and auditors for audits and tax compliance investigations.
  • Assist with New Project Implementation: Support the CFO with the implementation of new projects.
  • Monitor E-Invoice Registration: Ensure the registration status of e-invoices in the tax authority interface is up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Education: University degree in economics, accounting, or tax, preferably with a qualification as a chartered accountant or tax advisor.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in taxation and audit within an international environment, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
  • Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a business department and adapt to new business scenarios.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Tax Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Hungarian tax legislation and IFRS/local GAAP.
