Requirements
  • Min years' experience as a Bartender
  • Experience in 4* or 5* operations (Hotel and/or cruise ships)
  • College Degree/Diploma or relevant apprenticeship in the F&B Service industry beneficial
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English

Role and Responsibilities
  • Providing professional and courteous service on designated workstations according to the Company standards and procedures
  • Ensuring constant smooth operations and procedures within the Bar team
  • Retaining full knowledge of beverage menu
  • Welcoming and greeting of guests according to the Company standard
  • Taking beverage orders via onboard system
  • Preparing beverages as per Company recipes and standards
  • Ensuring proper stock handling, including reaching cost targets
  • Serving beverage items according to the Company standard and procedures
  • Being aware of the guest's specific needs and dietary requirements and recommending suitable alternatives
  • Performing special duties during additional F&B events such as Farewell Parties
  • Assisting the Restaurant Manager with training sessions for Restaurant & Bar team
  • Ensuring proper set up as per Company standard
  • Cleaning and polishing of china, glass, and silverware
  • Evaluating Bar Waiters regularly and providing feedback to the Restaurant Manager, including needed disciplinary actions
  • Dealing with guest complaints and reporting to Restaurant Manager
  • Ensuring active involvement in reaching higher guest satisfaction, including participating in additional Entertainment activities as per Company standard
  • Notifying Supervisor about breakage and damage of all equipment and machinery and record-keeping of breakage list
  • Following up on pending maintenance/stock requests
  • Observing slow running stock items and expiration control of Bar products
  • Assisting with monthly inventories, purchase orders and responsible for delivery control
  • Ensuring and maintaining cleanliness front and back of the house according to HACCP regulations
  • Ensuring correct handling of all equipment and machinery
  • Participating in all Safety Drills as per Captain's orders and ensuring solid knowledge of designated Safety role
  • Reporting any potential Safety hazards immediately
Side Tasks
  • Participating in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings
  • Fulfilling further job-related duties as instructed by the Supervisor, such as luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
  • Assisting other departments as per Supervisor's instruction
Salary: starting salary in the first contract is 2.200€/month net

Contract type: Swiss, with all the benefits of the Swiss labour laws
