Performance Manager

Abacus Medicine seeks an experienced consultant to support the design, pilot, and rollout of the
Abacus Regulatory Management System (ARMS)
. The goal is to build high-performance teams in Regulatory Affairs through standardized leadership routines, clear accountability, and transparent performance management. The consultant will work closely with the Regulatory leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Drive meaningful change in the Regulatory Department through a scope of:
System Design & Blueprint

• Develop a tailored management system for Regulatory Affairs, including leadership standards, daily/weekly/monthly routines, and performance dashboards.
• Align all routines and metrics with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs.

Pilot Execution (HU Regulatory)

• Lead the pilot implementation in HU Regulatory, including setup of ARMS routines, dashboards, and feedback mechanisms.
• Coach and support the local management and team leads in running daily huddles, weekly reviews, and monthly leadership meetings.

Training & Enablement

• Design and deliver training for leaders and team leaders on ARMS routines, dashboard use, performance conversations, and SOP stewardship.
• Provide materials for ongoing learning and peer coaching.

Digital Tools & Data

• Collaborate with IT or internal development resources to set up or adapt digital dashboards and reporting tools for Regulatory performance management.
• Ensure data quality and sustainability beyond manual tracking.

Change Management & Communication

• Develop a communication plan to build buy-ins, address resistance, and celebrate quick wins.
• Facilitate feedback loops and continuous improvement cycles.

Process Confirmation & Verification

• Develop and implement a process confirmation framework for ARMS routines and SOPs.
• Create tools and routines for leaders to verify process execution.
• Train staff in process confirmation techniques.
• Integrate process confirmation into audits and reviews.
• Ensure findings are documented and drive improvement.

Knowledge Transfer & Sustainability

• Prepare a clear handover plan, including documentation, training, and recommendations for long-term ownership by internal staff.

What You Shall Bring

Experience

• Proven track record in implementing performance management systems in Regulatory Affairs or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience with change management, digital transformation, and coaching in complex organizations.
• Experience designing and implementing process confirmation systems in regulated environments.

Skills

• Expertise in KPI design, dashboard implementation, and data analytics.
• Strong facilitation, training, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work diplomatically with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, IT, HR, senior management).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to train leaders in process verification and corrective action.
