We are looking for a
Senior Angular Developer
to join a long-term banking project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced front-end engineer who enjoys working with modern Angular, clean architecture, and complex enterprise applications.

Core Frontend Skills

  • Strong knowledge of
    HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Solid experience with
    TypeScript
    (interfaces, generics, type safety)
  • Experience with modern build tools:
    Angular CLI, Webpack, Vite

Angular Ecosystem

  • Confident experience with
    Angular 13+
  • Component-based architecture, lifecycle hooks, dependency injection
  • Strong
    RxJS
    skills (observables, subjects, operators)
  • State management (NgRx, Akita, or Angular Signals)
  • Routing, lazy loading, modular architecture
  • Experience with Reactive Forms & Template-driven Forms, validations
  • HTTP communication, REST API integration, interceptors, error handling, authentication token handling

UI / UX & Styling

  • SCSS/SASS or
    TailwindCSS
    experience
  • Familiarity with Material Design, PrimeNG, or custom design systems
  • Responsive and accessibility-first development
  • Basic UX mindset (user flow, visual consistency)

Other Technologies & Integrations

  • REST or
    GraphQL
    API integration
  • Unit & E2E testing (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Git workflows (branching, PR process)
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Basic DevOps mindset;
    Docker
    experience is a plus
  • Performance optimization (change detection strategy, trackBy, caching)
  • Understanding of security principles (XSS, CSRF, input sanitization)

Soft Skills
Communication

  • Strong English skills (written & spoken)
  • Ability to work with English documentation, join international meetings and code reviews

Additional Information

  • Candidates from outside Budapest are welcome, but
    weekly on-site presence (1 day/week)
    is required.
  • Banking experience is an advantage.
  • Regular
    team trips to Germany every 10 weeks for 5 days
    (fully paid and counted as working time).
  • This is initially a
    1-year engagement
    , with a high probability of transitioning to a permanent role.
