Job Scope
  • Lead forecast and budget processes with Plant Controller
  • Analyze actuals, forecasts, and budgets (plant & non-plant)
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for manufacturing, procurement, and logistics
  • Drive operational cost improvements (materials, labor, overhead)
  • Support regional strategy: footprint changes, capacity, automation, capital investments
  • Partner with supply chain to reduce freight costs and inventory
  • Assist in monthly plant reviews as Plant Controller's deputy if needed
  • Conduct productivity and margin analysis, identify improvement areas
  • Own Supported Sales and Standard Margin Forecast
  • Collaborate on capacity and resource planning for SCCOP and FTE forecasts
  • Manage inventory: adjustments, gross inventory, PFO
Team Supervision Responsibilities
  • Help set and track individual objectives
  • Promote cross-training to build team flexibility
  • Assess and address team training needs
  • Develop succession plans and identify growth areas
  • Address HR-related needs
  • Conduct individual and team performance reviews
Ideal Background
  • University degree in Economics or Controlling (CPA/ACA/ACMA is a plus)
  • 3+ years in Controlling/Finance; leadership experience preferred
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing company
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), SAP knowledge preferred
  • Experience in multinational matrix organizations is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian (spoken and written)
