As a Backend Developer on the Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) Predictions Team, you will help design, build, and maintain backend services supporting the WEM product suite.  This is a mid-level engineering role ideal for someone who enjoys reliable, well-structured work and long-term collaboration within a stable organization based in Budapest, Hungary.

You'll focus on TypeScript-based microservices deployed in AWS, working with a small team dedicated to product stability, scalability, and clean architecture.

• Develop and maintain backend microservices and APIs using TypeScript and
• Support integrations and data pipelines for cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure performance and reliability through good software design and testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of technical quality.
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver stable, well-documented releases.
• Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores and RESTful APIs.
• Basic understanding of AWS or other cloud environments.
• Consistent, reliable work habits and a steady approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented communication style.

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or testing frameworks.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or other backend languages.
