We're looking for a
Backend Developer
with strong experience in
.NET or
to join us as we kick off multiple exciting projects next year. You're not just someone who writes code, you enjoy understanding business needs, designing robust backend architectures, and turning ideas into scalable, high-performing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for custom web and mobile projects
  • Implement software based on specifications and technical guidelines
  • Evaluate software requirements, perform refinements, and clarify missing information
  • Jump confidently into unfamiliar codebases, quickly find your bearings, and add value right away
  • Enhance existing functionality and deliver bug fixes across multiple live projects and support requests
  • Conduct code reviews, estimate tasks, and handle bug fixes
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration
  • Optimize performance for high-traffic applications and ensure scalability, security, and high availability
  • Participate actively in our tech community (suggest new tools, processes, and ideas)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience
    in backend development (team-based, complex projects)
  • Strong knowledge of .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core)
    or
  • Solid understanding of
    Clean Code principles
    and
    design patterns (MVC, Factory, etc.)
  • Proficiency in
    SQL databases
    (MS SQL, and optionally other SQL systems)
  • Experience with
    Git
    , confident in branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines
  • Skills in
    debugging, performance optimization
    , and code quality assurance
  • Intermediate (or better)
    English communication skills
    , native-level Hungarian
  • Agile mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Bonus points (nice to have, not a must):

  • Experience with
    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of
    cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • Familiarity with
    Jira, Azure DevOps
    , event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Frontend development experience
  • System administration know-how
