Tuxera is looking for a motivated and curious
Junior File System Developer
to join our Hungary team.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers who are passionate about
embedded systems, C programming, and low-level software development
, and who want to grow their skills in a world-class engineering environment.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in the
    design, implementation, and testing
    of new features for Tuxera's file system and connectivity products.
  • Support integration and customization
    of Tuxera technologies for customer solutions.
  • Work closely with senior engineers
    to understand product architecture and development processes.
  • Assist in
    debugging, code reviews, and continuous improvement
    of our software.
  • Learn about
    embedded systems and file system technologies
    while contributing to real projects.
  • Evaluation of performance and features across multiple file systems

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science
    , Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
    , or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of
    C programming
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    embedded systems
    or
    real-time operating systems (RTOS)
    .
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication skills in
    English
    (both written and verbal).
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to take responsibility and work as part of a team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    Python
    or
    other scripting languages
    .
  • Knowledge of
    coding standards
    (e.g., MISRA).
  • Exposure to
    version control systems
    such as Git.
  • Interest in
    file systems and embedded software development
    .
