ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Verification & Validation Engineer to join our innovative hardware development team. In this critical role, you'll verify and validate complex FPGA designs, develop comprehensive testbenches, and automate laboratory testing processes. You'll work with cutting-edge technology including software-defined radio systems and DSP algorithms while contributing to our CI/CD infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify and validate complete functionality of complex FPGA hardware designs

• Develop and maintain comprehensive testbenches using VHDL and System Verilog

• Design and optimize RTL modules to meet strict resource and timing requirements

• Verify and test algorithms on hardware systems equipped with FPGA technology

• Automate laboratory tests using Python programming language

• Design and model DSP algorithms for signal processing applications

• Maintain and improve FPGA project building procedures and workflows

• Contribute to CI/CD system development and optimization

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 3-5 years of hands-on FPGA verification experience in production environments

• Strong experience in complete FPGA development life cycle from design to validation

• Advanced proficiency in VHDL and System Verilog hardware description languages

• Proven experience developing testbenches, models, checkers, and monitors

• Strong expertise in digital design principles, logic circuits, and hardware architecture

• Good hands-on experience with Python and TCL scripting for automation

• Practical experience with software-defined radio systems

• Experience with RF test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Generators

• Familiarity with FPGA development tools like Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus Prime

• Understanding of timing analysis, clock domain crossing, and metastability issues

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex hardware issues

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)

• Knowledge of formal verification techniques and tools

• Embedded software development experience with C and C++

• Familiarity with high-level synthesis tools and methodologies

• Experience with machine learning acceleration on FPGAs
