We are looking for a senior presales professional who can act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients. In this role, you will be at the heart of the sales process: shaping secure, scalable solutions, delivering impactful demos and proofs-of-concept, and guiding customers through complex technical decisions. You build credibility with senior stakeholders (Lead Architects, CIOs, CISOs), design enterprise-grade solution architectures, influence vendor and partner strategy, and establish repeatable processes that enable our sales teams to scale successfully.

This is how you'll help us grow:

Technical leadership in sales cycles

  • Own complex technical discussions with prospects, especially lead architects, defining architecture, integrations, deployment models, constraints.

  • Support the sales team during qualification, opportunity definition, and closing phases.

  • Preempt technical objections, propose mitigations and design trade-offs early to avoid delays.

  • Build credibility with both business stakeholders (C-level, procurement) and technical stakeholders (IT/architecture/security teams).

  • Deliver compelling product demos, proof-of-concepts, and pilots

Process design, operational excellence

  • Define, document, and continuously improve pre-sales workflows: from demo request, through proof of concept to pilot and production.

  • Create reusable artifacts: demo environments, architecture templates, discovery checklists, competitive analysis materials.

Strategic vendor evaluation

  • Research, benchmark, and recommend POS software/hardware vendors in the market. Consider criteria like scalability, ecosystem, cost, and security compliance.

  • Build short medium and long-term vendor partner strategy aligned with company goals.

Security, compliance & governance

  • Lead or contribute to responses on security questionnaires, RFPs, RFIs, due diligence (e.g. PCI, ISO, GDPR, SOC2) from prospects or vendor side.

  • Work with internal architecture teams to ensure that our solutions meet required standards and are communicated clearly to external stakeholders.

What you will bring to the table:


Must‑haves

  • 3+ years of experience in solution engineering, solution architecture, or technical/management consulting (B2B SaaS, enterprise IT, or POS/payment environments).

  • Proven track record of shortening sales cycles via technical leadership and risk mitigation.

  • Strong communication & presentation skills: able to address technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Skilled at defining & driving process improvements, documenting best practices, mentoring others.

  • Fluency in English, Hungarian (German or other languages a plus)

Nice‑to‑haves

  • Prior experience working with large global clients.

  • Experience evaluating and selecting vendors / platforms in the US.

  • Familiarity with POS hardware & software stack, edge computing, AI vision or computer vision integration.

  • Experience with vendor onboarding / responding to enterprise security / procurement questionnaires.

  • Ability to travel, if needed, for in-person demos or customer meetings.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise security / compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC2, ISO, GDPR, etc.).
