About The Product
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Go Engineer to guide a cross-functional engineering CCX product team.
CCX is a cloud-native platform designed to handle high-throughput, distributed workloads for modern enterprises. Built with Go and deployed on Kubernetes, it enables scalable, reliable, and resilient backend services. The system leverages microservices architecture, containerization, and automated orchestration to support real-time data processing, seamless integration with cloud environments, and easy scaling to meet evolving business demands.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of your time (around 80%) coding, architecting, and deploying backend services, while dedicating the remaining time (20%) to leading and shaping the CCX engineering team
• Own the technical roadmap for the backend, turning product requirements into scalable, high-performance, and resilient distributed systems.
• Shape the architecture of our cloud-native DBaaS platform, making key decisions around service decomposition, containerization, orchestration, and observability.
• Drive engineering excellence: enforce clean code, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with other teams to align priorities, manage trade-offs, and deliver reliable backend features that scale.
• Lead sprint planning and team processes, fostering accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in software delivery.
• Ensure platform reliability and performance, including high-availability deployments, automated failover, performance tuning, and incident response.
• Lead innovations, introducing modern tools, frameworks, and cloud-native approaches to solve complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) in backend development with Go, building high-performance, scalable, and maintainable services in production environments.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring engineering teams, providing technical guidance and architectural decision-making.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures, including microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to coordinate effectively across Backend, Sales, Support and Product teams.

Nice To Have

• Experience developing Kubernetes Operators or controllers
• Background in DBaaS, SaaS, or PaaS environments
• Strong understanding of database technologies, clustering, high availability, replication, and automated failover mechanisms.
• Contributions to open-source cloud-native projects
