As a member of the team "Product Management Automotive Aftermarket" in the Segment "Marketing & Strategy" in the Business Area Industrial Solutions EMEA of ContiTech, you are taking care of our Product Management activities. The Segment "Marketing & Strategy" covers the several businesses in EMEA covering external customer of the sectors Automotive and Industry.

Job Description
As the product manager, you are enabling profitable and sustainable sales and growth by holistic steering todays and future portfolio of products and services.

  • Development and implementation of the product strategy for your dedicated product groups (ContiTech BA Industrial Solutions EMEA)
  • Product portfolio management under lifecycle and profitability aspects (launch, in-market-phase, end-of-Life, setting of strategic price points, create product training materials, product business performance)
  • Driving the organization to implement the product portfolio and roadmap in the most profitable way
  • Identifying and developing current and future value-selling opportunities
  • Management of Product Master Data for product information management (PIM), product hierarchy and input for marketing activities (e.g. catalogues, trainings)
  • Identifying and analyzing specific markets, trends and evolving customer needs
  • Support the creation, decision-making and execution of business cases for new business opportunities
  • Definition of product requirements for customers, internal interfaces, and suppliers

In addition you will support the pricing team

  • Preparation of competition pricing analysis and monitor market pricing activities
  • Identify and initiate pricing/margin improvement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Economics, Economical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
  • Several years of professional experience in a B2B environment in at least one of the following functional areas: Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Product Development/Application Engineering or Project Management
  • Experienced in industrial products, especially in the rubber area
  • Analytic, complex Project management capabilities, moderation and presentation techniques.
  • Proven ability to successfully work in highly diverse global teams
  • Good organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English language skills in spoken and written form

This is a hybrid job but
at least 1-2 days/week onsite (in Nyíregyháza) is required
