Job Title: Technical (Field) Marketing Manager

Location: Budapest, Hungary

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Technical Field Marketing Manager to join our team and support the successful positioning, promotion, and adoption of our crop protection portfolio. This role acts as a crucial link between Marketing, Commercial, and Field operations, ensuring that strategic campaigns and product launches are effectively implemented in the field and aligned with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the portfolio technical positioning, acting as a bridge between the Marketing and Commercial teams.
  • Participate in creating mid- to long-term marketing strategies, including campaign planning and implementation, to support product lifecycle management.
  • Provide technical content and recommendations for communication materials, digital platforms, and grower engagement tools.
  • Organize field trials for existing products and future product launches (NPI) to validate performance and value proposition and/or demonstrate our offer benefits externally (open field days).
  • Visit key customers (including influencers, distributors, and priority growers) to support demand creation campaigns and strengthen relationships.
  • Engage directly with farmers to increase the quality of interactions, generate demand, and support the Value Innovation Portfolio.
  • Monitor closely farmer technology adoption and identify market shifts and evolving customer needs.
  • Track competitor activities, including launches, their technical positioning.
  • Actively participate in field events, indoor seminars, and technical meetings to share knowledge and promote solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions for commercial teams and contribute to campaign kick-off meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Crop Protection or Agronomy related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical field support, product development, agronomy, or marketing within the crop protection or agrochemical industry.
  • Strong understanding of crop protection solutions, and farmer needs.
  • Proven experience in implementing technical field activities, field trials, and market support initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage farmers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate field insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
