Responsibilities
Make an impact

  • Hardware-related test development for machine control, HMI and network communication devices
  • Hardware component testing in accordance to IEC 61508 and other related functional safety standards
  • Analyzing technical requirements and creating specifications
  • Supporting production ramp-up
  • Qualifying the final production development
  • Testing of prototype, NPI, bugfix hardware and firmwarerevisions

Application Requirements
What you need to succeed

  • University degree
  • Intermediate English proficiency (German is a plus)
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex wiring and circuit diagrams
  • Familiar with common inter-device communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI)
  • Profound knowledge of measurement technologies and instrumentation
  • Practical experience in hardware-related programming
  • Knowledge of EtherCAT and safety-related fieldbus implementations is highly appreciated (advantage)
  • Experience with in-circuit functional test systems is nice to have (advantage)
  • User-level experience with Linux/RT OS is a plus
