Where do you land?

As a Cloud Engineer in our in our Business Platform Safety, Security & Crisis Management (SSC), you will shape the backbone of our technology stack. You will work closely with talented colleagues across development, operations, and business units, driving our cloud journey forward.

What are you going to do?

As a Cloud Engineer, you will:

  • Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure:
    Architect, implement, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure using Terraform.
  • Automation & CI/CD:
    Develop and maintain GitHub workflows for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring smooth and reliable software delivery pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as Code:
    Leverage Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
  • Develop Cloud-Native Solutions:
    Collaborate with development teams to build and optimize cloud-native applications, primarily using Python (mandatory) and optionally Java.
  • Cloud Operations:
    Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources, ensuring performance, cost-effectiveness, and security.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.
  • Documentation & Best Practices:
    Create clear documentation and advocate for best practices in cloud architecture and deployment.

Your profile

We are looking for passionate and skilled Senior Cloud Engineers who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and communicate complex topics with clarity to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive, take initiative, and drive improvements across cloud operations.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
  • Proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory)
  • Experience in writing and managing
    GitHub workflows
    (GitHub Actions)
  • Solid experience with
    Terraform
    for infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Understanding of cloud security, networking, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate and share knowledge
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Java
  • Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions
