We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to work within the Valuation Control Group as a finance analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Perform valuation control related core production: Independent Price Verification (IPV), Valuation Adjustments, Fair Value Levelling.
- Own or contribute to tasks relating to reporting, projects or analysis of results and significant matters.
- Analyze and reconcile valuation differences between front office marks and independent valuations, providing clear explanations and supporting documentation for discrepancies.
- Work with Front Office traders, Risk Management, Markets Controllers and other stakeholders to ensure a complete understanding and proper resolution of valuation issues.
- Ensure particular attention is given to the design and execution of controls.
- Assist in preparing valuation reports and presentations for senior management, internal committees, and regulatory bodies.
Ideal background:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Relevant professional experience of 1-3 years or demonstrated interest in Finance (preferably Valuations, Risk, Product Control, or similar functions).
- Knowledge of, experience with, or a demonstrated interest in financial products and valuation principles. Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting concepts.
- Strong computer literacy, with special regards to Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills at minimum B2 level.
We are a development-focused organization. The above qualifications and skills are considered as primary assets for the position – but we do not pursue perfectionism: we look for capable colleagues and help them grow to excellence in their fields and positions.
