The financial accountant is responsible for the financial Accounting processes as part of the R2R organization in our Shared Service center in Budapest. Provide support for the entities under Budapest R2R team. Stabilize and improve the financial processes within the team. 2 Senior Accountants (1 primary and 1 backup) in the team are responsible for the taxation and statutory compliance of Agco Hungary Kft.

Your Impact:

  • Supporting the Team Leader in the daily operations of the team Completing month end close tasks within the agreed deadlines
  • Preparing accruals and journal, posting them in SAP / One Stream Review financial reports, identify issues and errors, propose actions and adjustments
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Preparing FASS / KPMG PBC Lists Ensuring that SOX policies and procedures are adhered to Support internal and external audits
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement culture within the organization
  • Additionally in some positions: Preparation and submission of Agco Hungary's tax reports Reconciliation of Agco Hungary's tax accounts Acting as a main contact in tax audits

Your Experience and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business (or similar)
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in SSC reporting / GL accounting area
  • SAP experience in-depth Excel knowledge
  • Also in some positions: Confident and up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian tax and accounting laws (VAT, Income tax etc.)
  • Min 5 years of statutory and taxation experience in Hungary

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
