Job Description

We have a startup developing a hiking/racing system, using the following technologies: Angular 6 web frontend, Angular 6 web admin tool, a mobile app in Ionic. We use AWS and other cloud technologies, exotic realtime systems, kubernetes clusters, etc. We absolutely enjoy working on the project, and actually, we already use it during hikes. If you like hiking, then it's cool, as hiking may be a paid assignment in your work time :)

As being a consultant company, you may be assigned to other Angular/cloud projects in fintech, big data, etc. We accept only high-tech, interesting and valuable assignments only.

We work in an agile way, and we have no hierarchy.

Qualifications

- you must be an Angular (6) expert

- ... or, you must have some experience in single page apps, or in equivalent technologies (ex. React) and you want to learn and use Angular

- knowing CSS tricks, UX, effects are a big asset

- be able to run unix shell scripts on your machine (even if you work on Windows). Know the basic usage of docker, concepts of cloud computing

- you must be able to write unit tests :)

If some qualifications are missing, it is OK, we provide you the best online training and we give you sufficient time to get on track. Your attitude, willingness to learn and personality matter the most.

Additional Information

- you must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. Garlic Tech has an office in Debrecen, and we have coworker places in Budapest, you can work remotely in most of the time if you wish. 

- we prefer applicants from Debrecen or Debrecen area, because our project is EU funded, and the main location of project execution is in Debrecen.

- in Debrecen, we will change our office to a coworker place soon, so even if you are alone in the "Debrecen team", you will meet people :)

- once a month we meet in Budapest, so you should be able to do this travel.

- part-time or full-time contracts are considerd. We prefer employment contracts. 

- if you have difficulties in travel (health, being a mother, etc.), then we may set aside the travels.
