We are seeking an experienced
IT Application Operation Specialist
to manage, support, and enhance the lifecycle of our corporate business applications. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation, security, and continuous improvement of applications, aligning them with business needs and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage and maintain business applications, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing support.


• Execute regular updates, security patches, and plan patch management activities.


• Provide Level 2 support using Splunk and ElasticSearch.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prepare specifications.


• Maintain accurate technical documentation in Confluence.


• Use Jira for ticket management and Bitbucket for version control and CI/CD processes.


• Support projects across on-premises and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.


• Monitor system performance, optimize efficiency, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications


• 2–3 years of professional experience in application management or support.


• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL,
SQL
Server, and ETL tools.


• Hands-on experience with
Splunk
, ElasticSearch,
GCP
, and
Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
.


• Basic programming skills in Java, JavaScript, React, and HTML.


• Strong skills in log analysis, troubleshooting, and basic API integration.


• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.


• Customer-oriented and proactive approach with a willingness to continuously learn and develop.

Preferred


• Certifications in ITIL, GCP, or DevOps.


• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell).


• Proficiency in Italian.
