The role is responsible for leading the Transactionals Operations at the Hub in Hungary. The primary objective is to deliver high-quality transactional services—such as order processing, export, and related support—for all other company locations. In addition, the role actively contributes to the development and implementation of global processes, ensuring that standardised and efficient workflows are established, executed, and continuously improved across all sites. The role develops service standards, optimises end-to-end processes, and serves as the main point of contact for cross-site collaboration within transactional operations. The Trade Compliance Manager reports directly to the Global Process Leader Transactions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Transactionals team.
  • Responsible for providing high-quality transactional services (order processing, export, support) to all other sites.
  • Conducting annual performance reviews and managing team members
  • Responsible for employee management, including annual appraisals and staff development.
  • Monitoring and ensuring accurate time tracking
  • Ensuring smooth operation of daily business (quotations, order processing, export, shipping, etc.)
  • Analysing and resolving issues within the department
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time
  • Independently handling customer complaints
  • Ensuring and continuously improving team productivity
  • Controlling all repair and spare parts contracts according to supervisor's specifications
  • Communication with customers up to contract signing. Responsible for customer communication and contract finalisation.
  • Ensuring regular export-related training for all team members
  • Ensuring all contacts, customers, and logistics partners are recorded in the CRM system
  • Ensuring important quotations, emails, and contracts are stored in the CRM system
  • Accountable for all above tasks and results towards the Global Process Leader Transactions
  • Consulting with the Global Process Leader Transactions regarding process development and implementation
  • Informing the Global Process Leader Transactions about operational performance, issues, and progress

Qualifications

  • Completed education in business administration, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in order processing, export, or transactional services, ideally in an international environment
  • Proven experience in team leadership and people development
  • Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs processes, and international logistics
  • Experience with process optimisation and implementation of global standards is an advantage
  • Very good command of English
  • Proficient in the use of ERP systems and CRM solutions
  • Confident handling of MS Office 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with digital collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, Task Management, Kanban etc)
  • Strong customer orientation and service mindset; always striving to exceed customer expectations
  • Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence for collaboration in global teams
  • High level of initiative, solution orientation, and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Strong organisational skills, structured working style, and attention to detail
  • Ability to motivate and empower team members in a dynamic, international environment
