ESG Coordination Expertat MOL Group
Purpose of the position:
The ESG Expert plays a key role in both the coordination and reporting aspects of MOL Group's sustainability efforts. This position supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of ESG strategies and targets, while also ensuring high-quality, transparent ESG reporting to capital market participants and other stakeholders. The role bridges strategic coordination and sustainability reporting, contributing to MOL Group's compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with international ESG standards and best practices.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
Coordinate and monitor the implementation of MOL Group's ESG targets derived from the corporate strategy.
Manage and support Group-wide ESG-related projects, maintaining a network of 20+ internal stakeholders as well as external assurance (audit) processes
Collect, validate, and synthesize ESG-related information for inclusion in the annual sustainability report and other disclosures.
Ensure alignment with ESG reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. ESRS, GRI, TCFD, Greenhouse Gas Protocol).
Engage with ESG rating agencies, support responses to ESG research/rating/index houses, and contribute to investor presentations and quarterly reports.
Monitor and interpret sustainability-related regulatory changes and support their implementation across the Group.
Conduct benchmarks and peer reviews, analyze global ESG reporting trends, and contribute to compliance with EU and national legal requirements.
Support Investor Relations and Treasury with ESG-related content for earnings calls, capital market days, and ratings.
Prepare decision-making materials for operative management and high-level forums.
Provide proactive professional support to the Group ESG Manager and collaborate closely with other ESG experts.
Requirements:
University/college degree in economics/finance/accounting or environmental economics/engineering
1-3 years of relevant professional experience
High proficiency in English (work language)
Good organization, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to cooperate, to work in a team
Strong coordination skills
General IT user knowledge
