SAP EHS Consultant (Contractor)

to join their team

Job Summary:

We are seeking expertise in SAP EHS to join our Support & Maintenance team, focusing on HSE applications.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for expertise to manage and enhance SAP EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

  • Support in solving incidents and bugs
  • Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity
  • Write functional specifications for developers
  • Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes
  • Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes
  • Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications
  • Support key EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, and global label management
  • Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) Poison Control Notification (PCN), and other registration processes as applicable in the Chemicals industry

Required Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the below skillsets
  • Strong technical skills within
    SAP EHS
  • Expertise should encompass key areas such as Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Expert Rules, Dangerous Goods Management, SVHC, SVT, and PCN.
  • Basic functional knowledge of applicable regulations within the chemical industry are preferred.
  • A basic understanding of software development and interfacing tools will be beneficial. Knowledge in ABAP.
  • Fluent English knowledge
