Purpose of the role: The Manager Global IT connectivity is responsible for defining, setting up, governing and managing all Trivium Connectivity and related services. This includes all LAN/WAN/WIFI, Telephony, Network Security, monitoring, third party circuits, Cloud connectivity and related services like DNS and DHCP.The global operations, governance and security are carried out under the supervision of the manager through a mix of internal and external sourcing partners. The Manager is responsible for the full Design, Build and Run phase across the entire lifecycle of the solution.The manager also keeps the oversight of the overall performance from a user perspective and drives continuous improvement in terms of service levels, performance, reliability and costs. The manager is also responsible for setting/coaching the team to realize the trivium objectives.Your responsibilities: Setting up a global COE for Connectivity, with the relevant roles/responsibilities to guarantee seamless 24/7 operations in all time zones Accountable for the design of our global connectivity services, the interconnectivity to/from and automation, applying innovative thinking and secure-by-design principles to continuously meet business demands.Accountable for ensuring the day-to-day operational delivery, including level 2/3 escalations of the respective solutions, either through internal teams or by using strategic sourcing partners Hires, trains, assigns work, evaluates, and manages performance, determines compensation of staff in line with our strategic objectives and company policies.Pro-Actively manages all stakeholders. Communicates timely and clearly on issues, incidents and progress in ongoing projects and agreed deliverables.For all staff directly reporting to this position, develops strategic and operating plans, goals, objectives, priorities and procedures that are in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of the department.Working in collaboration with other IT functions to ensure continued delivery against agreed SLA's Plans and manages department level and capital budgets. Ensures expenditures are appropriate and within approved budget.
