Maintenance Engineer

The global head office is at Amsterdam Airport; however, many people work in virtual teams from different countries. Our culture is results-driven, entrepreneurial, informal, and highly multicultural. Our people have a high degree of responsibility. Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Manage maintenance budgets and control costs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.Train and mentor maintenance staff.Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency.Monitor and analyze equipment performance data.Respond to emergency maintenance requests.Collaborate with external contractors and vendors.Prepare and present maintenance reports to management.Implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure proper documentation of maintenance procedures.Participate in planning and execution of capital projects.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance engineering.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems.Proven experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in maintenance management software.Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.Experience with budget management and cost control.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.Strong organizational and time management skills.Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent English and Hungarian language knowledge.
