What you`ll do:
As a core member of the
Infrastructure Services team
, you will be responsible for leading discussions and engagements with major hyperscaler partners. Your role will focus on driving
capacity planning, ensuring operational stability, and fostering continuous improvement
across our infrastructure landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions with hyperscalers on infrastructure capacity planning and scalability.
• Ensure the stability, reliability, and resilience of infrastructure operations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, security, and compliance teams to ensure seamless service execution.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for data-driven decision making
• Drive growth of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) customer base of 7200+ Globally and rapidly growing.
• Support ECS Infra Capacity planning and management team to achieve target customer count year on yearand reduce Total Cost of Ownership.
• Oversee Infra operational capacity requirement of ~200,000 servers across 100+ Datacenters.
• Maintain customer infrastructure requirements accurately in demand planning tools, and with at most transparency.
• Follow defined processes, identify the need to continuously improve. Maintain and enhance documentation.
• Address customer requests (on tickets or emails) in a very timely manner. Understand customer requirements, contractual eligibility, and efficiently manage capacity.
• Cross team co-ordination:
• Work with Global Delivery Office to review infra capacity situation and plan Customer system delivery date/s.
• Work with System Build & Service Request handling team to enable full filling of customer deliverables.
• Work with Decommission team, Incident Team to track and follow up any pending or long running decommission.
• Support development teams with tool implementation and integration.
• Work with public cloud capacity team/s to ensure capacity availability for ECS customers.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in infrastructure operations or service delivery with a focus on large-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, operational stability, and reliability engineering.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, preferably with hyperscalers or large enterprise clients.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent working knowledge in MS Excel & MS Outlook. Hands on experience in any reporting tool will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal, written communication (English), analytical, presentation and co-ordination skills.
• Hands on scripting or coding experience in any of programming languages - python, powershell will be desired.
• Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructure is required – compute servers, storage, networking, datacenter.
• Basic understanding of any of the following - Baremetal servers, VMWare, Kernel-based Virtual Machine will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of any public clouds such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or IBM Cloud will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
