Trading Operations Analyst

Technologists at WorldQuant research, design, code, test and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. The Role

• Within European business hours monitor execution across equities, FX, Futures and other asset classes, trading in different regions.
• Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow.
• Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant's models.
• Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.
• Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk and many other teams.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top tier institution
• 2+ years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategies
• Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading
• Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plus
• Experience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities, FX, fixed income, credit, derivatives)
