One of the key business areas pivotal in our future growth plans is the Digital Business Unit. The Digital Business Unit leads the way in innovation, focusing on unlocking, transforming, and protecting data. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Strategy Advisor to help us achieve our growth ambitions in this business area.

The Job

As a Senior Strategy Advisor at Iron Mountain, your role will be pivotal to the growth goals of our Digital Business Unit (DBU) and the success of IRM. You will work on high-stakes, complex global deals, elevating customer relationships to new levels. You and your peers will drive global strategic deals and internal strategy initiatives, directly contributing to both customer and internal growth at Iron Mountain.

Your responsibilities involve leveraging the organization's full potential to prioritize customer centricity and ensure exceptional customer engagement, enabling customers to reach their goals. A key element is designing compelling deal strategies and proposals that align the customer's strategic objectives with IRM digital solutions to drive mutual growth.

The Role

  • In partnership with business leaders and the DBU, identify the A-team and accelerate the strategy and mechanics of key strategic deals

  • Effective story-telling via qualitative and quantitative research. Utilize these insights to proactively drive strategic customer strategies and craft necessary pitches and collateral materials to support this initiative

  • Providing intellectual leadership through business analyses to develop concrete growth strategies for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance vertical within the DBU

  • Developing strong relationships with Iron Mountain’s leaders, collaborating with them effectively and becoming a trusted thought partner on critical decisions / areas of their function

  • Effectively build and maintain consensus, define success, ruthlessly prioritize, day to day manage and work cross functionally across several teams and functions to deliver outcomes

What excites us

  • Experience in Management Consulting, (Digital) Strategy, or Strategic Sales within the Technology Sector

  • Proven expertise in consultative solution approaches and technology-focused sales

  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative research to form and test hypotheses

  • Proficiency in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return On Investment (ROI) modeling

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey findings and analysis to non-technical audiences

  • Intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and tactical proficiency

  • Collaborative and influential leadership within global, matrixed teams

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through

  • In-depth understanding of modern technologies such as Cloud SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and AI/ML for advancing digital transformation in key sectors.

Bonus points for

  • Skilled in facilitating strategic ideation workshops with customers to identify pain points and develop solutions.

  • Good understanding of the Banking and Insurance sectors and associated digital transformation drivers.

  • Proven ability to advance Sales through early stages. Experience with Solution selling / design - thinking to aid in further qualification, better positioning expectations, and value to solve customer’s business and technical challenges will be helpful.
