Senior ServiceNow Developer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM/ITOM processes in incident, problem, change, service request, event or CMDB areas.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture requirements for all stories.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Work closely with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and administrators.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the platform.
  • Implement enhancements and optimizations to improve the overall performance of ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
  • Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations and customizations.
  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or related areas.
  • Proficiency with object-oriented programming, common data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong software engineering knowledge (version control, API design, database design, testing, code quality etc.).
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM etc.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and integration technologies.
  • Knowledge in user interface development of web-based applications and database development (SQL, XML, etc.) also will be regarded as a plus.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (Preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competent in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
  • Ability to work in an international setup and with remote development teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
