Position Summary:

As a member of the local lead team you are supporting the country manager and the sales and marketing leaders as a strong finance business partner. Your focus is on ensuring the seamless execution of day to day operations and monitoring actual performance, running budget/forecast processes, preparing monthly and year-end financial reporting's, and supporting the daily business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running all finance related processes
  • Manage the Customer Service Team
  • Finance business partner to support the country manager and sales and marketing leaders
  • Support the sales with meaningful data analysis on KPI's, pricing, incentive modelling and calculations
  • Monitoring actual performance and reporting variances and trends
  • Revenue and cost controlling
  • Preparation of the monthly & year-end closing
  • Running the budget and forecast process
  • Driving operational efficiency
  • Contact person for internal audits and the Internal Control System (ICS)

Goal of the role

You ensure smooth, reliable and compliant finance, controlling and customer service processes for the local Straumann subsidiary. You will provide financial insights for decision-making and drive operational efficiency in your role as a finance and operations business partner.

Organisational integration

You will report directly to the country manager of our Hungarian subsidiary in Budapest.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in a Finance/Controlling/Accounting leadership position
  • Strategic thinking and data driven analytical skills
  • Power user of Excel
  • Experience in international organizations
  • Self-motivated and driving for results
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset
  • Language capabilities: Hungarian & English, native or business fluent required
