Job Title: Sr. Accounts Payable Representative

This role is part of our Global Business Services team, responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Accounts Payable and other financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month, utilizing different ERPs and systems.
  • Verify all invoices for proper approval and valid GL numbers & cost centres.
  • Proactively chase outstanding actions to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.
  • Research and resolve supplier disputes and issues, including root cause analysis and proactive steps to mitigate future issues.
  • Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Approved Authority Matrix.
  • Adhere to contractual payment terms to ensure the smooth operation of the business while maximizing cash flow.
  • Mentor and train a new member of the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Technical mindset with system knowledge and the ability to investigate and resolve invoice Idoc/Interface issues.
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in a multinational environment, preferably in a shared services setting.
  • Confident knowledge of MS tools (Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to handle large volumes of invoices within agreed SLA while using several ERPs and workflows.
  • Ability to multitask and follow frequently changing priorities.
  • Team person attitude, quick learner, flexibility and high adaptability to change.
  • Positive mindset, "can-do" attitude.

Nice to Have:

  • Accounts Payable working experience within a shared services environment.
  • Process Improvement/Process Standardization/Process Automation experience.
