Position Summary

As a key member of our Global Business Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts Payable function. You will be responsible for performing a range of accounting tasks, from processing invoices to resolving supplier disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month using different ERPs and systems.
  • Verify all invoices for compliant approval and valid GL numbers & cost centres.
  • Proactively troubleshoot open items to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.
  • Research and resolve supplier disputes and issues, using root cause analysis and proactive steps to mitigate future issues.
  • Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Approved Authority Matrix.
  • Adhere to contractual payment terms to ensure the smooth operation of the business while improving cash flow.
  • Mentor and train a new member of the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in Accounts Payable in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Confident knowledge of MS tools (Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to handle large volumes of invoices within the agreed SLA while using several ERPs and workflows.
  • Ability to multitask and follow (frequently changing) priorities.
  • Team person attitude, quick learner, flexibility and high adaptability to change.
  • Positive mindset, "can-do" attitude.
  • Process improvement experience is a plus.
