What you can look forward to as IT Vendor and License Management Specialist:

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with IT vendors and suppliers, negotiating vendor contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable agreements including performance reviews and issue resolution.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select IT vendors based on the organization's requirements and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and pricing terms to secure favorable vendor agreements.
  • Monitors and manages software licenses to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, as well as renewals, end-of-life and overall usage.
  • Work to ensure the best possible value from vendor relationships.
  • Develops and implements a procurement strategy to acquire necessary IT assets and software licenses.
  • Implements software asset management best practices.
  • Monitor software usage to optimize license allocation and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and recommend adjustments as needed including report of license usage and supports in audits
  • Maintains comprehensive records of vendor contracts, software licenses, procurement activities and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, department heads, and management to understand technology needs and requirements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that vendor and license management strategies align with organizational goals.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and software licensing, including data security and compliance risks.

Your profile as IT Vendor and License Management Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent Verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
  • Min. 5 years proven experience in IT vendor management and software license management
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Familiarity with software asset management tools
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for IT procurement and vendor management
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
