Data Services Consultant

We are seeking a Data Services Consultant to join our team in Hungary, working with SAP Concur, the cloud-based market leader in corporate Travel and Expense management. As a Data Services Consultant, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, crafting reporting strategies, and recommending best practice reports for specific client profiles, industries, or use cases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence solutions, experience in working with large data sets, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with clients to gather business requirements, develop reports in IBM Cognos, and help them interpret the results. You will also be responsible for establishing reporting strategies with and for clients, and making policy proposals to manage their costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect requirements from clients regarding their business and reporting needs
  • Develop reports for clients in IBM Cognos
  • Help clients interpret the reports
  • Make policy proposals to clients based on the reporting to manage their costs
  • Establish reporting strategies with and for clients

Requirements:

  • BA/BSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Economics
  • Good understanding and use of business intelligence solutions, experience in working with large data sets
  • Working experience in client-facing role is a plus
  • SQL, advanced MS Excel is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform under stress possibly on multiple concurrent tasks
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and team player
  • Experience with SAP Concur solutions is a plus
  • Fluency in English and French is a must
