Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled German speaking pharmacovigilance associate to join our team. As a pharmacovigilance associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of patients by monitoring and reporting adverse events related to pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and review safety information from various sources, including voice calls and emails.
  • Route safety reports to the appropriate department, such as medical information or quality assurance, as needed.
  • Monitor mailboxes and triage patient safety reports and emails.
  • Maintain and archive emails and source documents, and update shared folders.
  • Enter safety information into a front-end system, evaluate case seriousness, and perform initial checks to prevent duplicate entries.
  • Obtain consent from reporters to follow up on safety reports and assess cases for missing information.
  • Check case validity, perform health authority database extractions, and document review processes.
  • Work with project quality roles to improve case quality and maintain data according to customer guidelines.
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of new joiners as needed.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or relevant clinical experience or translation experience in medical documents.
  • Good spoken and written German proficiency (level B2 CEFR minimum or equivalent) or native speaker with education in English medium.
  • Graduate in Life Sciences domain.
