Job Title: German Speaking Pharmacovigilance Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented German speaking Pharmacovigilance Associate to join our team at Cognizant Technology Solutions Hungary Kft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process safety information from various channels, including voice calls and emails.
  • Route safety reports to the appropriate department, such as Medical Information or Quality Assurance.
  • Monitor mailboxes and triage patient safety reports and emails.
  • Maintain and archive emails and source documents, and update shared folders.
  • Enter safety information into the front-end system, acknowledge receipt of information, and obtain consent from reporters to follow up on safety reports.
  • Assess cases for missing information, follow up attempts until closure, and check case validity.
  • Perform initial checks, search databases to prevent duplicate entries, and ensure upfront clarification requests in case of data discrepancies.
  • Enter safety information into the front-end system, evaluate case seriousness, and perform dechallenge-rechallenge evaluations.
  • Translate and back-translate safety information as applicable.
  • Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and archiving source data records for missing or discrepant safety information.
  • Identify discrepancies and maintain email clarifications for SDV.
  • Extract and process Individual Case Safety Reports from Health Authority databases and registries.
  • Document review processes and ensure timely completion of day-to-day work and process flows within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain data according to customer guidelines and work with project quality roles to improve case quality.
  • Attend training sessions and develop skills and capabilities on an ongoing basis.
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of Pharmacovigilance or relevant Clinical experience or translation experience in Medical Documents is preferred.
  • Good spoken and written German proficiency (level B2 CEFR minimum or equivalent) or Native speaker with education in English medium.
  • Minimal Education Qualification: Graduate in Life Sciences domain.
